In support of a recent surfing reunion of 1960's surfers in Hull, Massachusetts, Will Somers, one of the original New England
surfers and surfshop owners, made a series of five podcasts. Based on
the interest generated (much appreciated), Will made a video slide show
for the reunion. That show, called "Surfing through time" (C), is this
video.
Will started Narragansett Surf Shops, which was the Hobie (R) Surfboards dealer in New England.
This video chronicles with surf photography and clippings the genesis
of surfing in New England and the surfers who have gone on to do other
exciting and interesting things in their lives, as well as keeping the
surfing spirit alive Putting this together has been a labor of love, and
I want to thank Ron Pare, surf photographer extraordinaire, my wife
Marilyn, for being there and for putting up with my long hours, Anne
Jones Brown and Kathy Jones Nelson, for their inspiration, grace and
joie de vive, Roger Crawford, Mark Richardson, Bob Coletti, Audrey
Berman, Wes Woll, Warren Horsley and their entire team for their
Herculean efforts to create the successful surf 68 reunion.

interactive version of the Surfing Through Time Presentation under Surf
Stories on Mersman.net, which has the original slide deck which we
created and abstracted for this video.
Thank you all.
